Mortadella with black truffles and Beppe’s cheeses.

On Tuesday Beppe e I Suoi Formaggi opened on Via Santa Maria del Pianto in Rome’s Jewish Ghetto. I stopped by this evening to see how things were progressing. There is still some more electrical work to do and the tasting rooms have yet to be completed, but there are plenty of cheese and cold cuts to be had.

The front counter is nearly fully stocked with lots of cheese of Alpine origin…

As well as Beppe’s famous butter made from his prized cattle…

And some gorgeous Le Catal goat cheese from France. I may need to move in next door to this place.
