It’s been a whirlwind trip back to Jerz and, as usual, I ate entirely too much pizza (in the sense that I should have saved room for dumplings and other things I cannot find in Rome). Between slices, I did loads of work on Really Roman and a few other projects, but still found plenty of time to celebrate my home state by eating copious amounts of the season’s last corn and tomatoes.
Speaking of Jersey Fresh produce, I will be speaking on Saturday September 27 at 10:00am at the West Windsor Community Farmers’ Market about food writing with Kit Bornheimer, Pat Tanner and Rachel Weston. Be sure to stick around for the market’s great stalls and vendors. The WW Community Farmers’ Market runs from 9am-1pm Saturdays and is located on Vaughn Drive in a parking lot on the southbound side of the Princeton Junction Train Station.
