    Great article, Katie. It will be very interesting to see what happens. Though I don’t live in London any more, I have great memories of the Borough Market (this one vendor had fabulous venison…) and it would be a shame to see it turn into just a tourist trap.

    Being around for three centuries doesn’t guarantee you the right to be around for three more, but hopefully this generation of managers won’t be the ones which kill it off.

    I go here quite a lot, it seems from my perspective that no imediate business has been affected at the moment though it is clear there is no stability until this issue is sorted out. I go to a micro brewery underneeth this very railway arch but considerably further on. It’s one of the few places I can get real palma ham in London. Borough Market is a great place to go to for food, The Kernel for a much required ipa or imperial stout
