During the virtual class, we’ll be mixing dough and baking focaccia pugliese (aka #coverfocaccia) from Katie’s latest cookbook, Food of the Italian South. We’ll provide the recipe in advance so you can bake along with us. Throughout the evening, we’ll discuss Italian bread culture, pizza history, and travel. Special guests Chris Bianco of Pizzeria Bianco, Cesare Agostini of Farinella in Ottawa, and Toronto chef and restaurateur Rob Gentile will drop in throughout the evening.
100% of Proceeds from the Evening will be Donated to Benefit the New Georgia Project, a Non-Partisan Effort to Register and Civically Engage Voters from the Great State of Georgia.
