Join Pizza Del Popolo in celebrating The Joy of Pizza with Dan Richer and Katie Parla. The pizzeria will be hosting a take-over to celebrate Dan and Katie’s New York Times Best Selling cookbook The Joy of Pizza: Everything You Need to Know. Richer is the chef and owner of Razza in Jersey City, a four-time semifinalist for the James Beard Foundation’s Best Chef: Mid-Atlantic award and a James Beard Rising Star Chef semifinalist. Katie Parla is an Italy-based food and beverage writer, culinary guide, educator, award-winning cookbook author, and co-host of the Gola podcast.
Dessert will be panettone served by the legendary Roy Shvartzapel of From Roy.

Margherita – Crushed Organic California tomatoes, fresh mozzarella, basil, extra virgin olive oil
Pumpkin – Roasted pumpkin, fresh mozzarella, caramelized onion, ricotta salata (from The Joy of Pizza)
“Santo” – Tomato sauce, fresh mozzarella, red onion, sausage, chili oil (from The Joy of Pizza)
Dessert: Naturally leavened Panettone “FROM ROY”
