Petit Canard

Written by Katie Parla on April 13, 2010

The menu at Chez Dumonet lists petit canard, small duck, as one of its mains. What they serve, however, would be better described as canard, or even énorme canard. The thing was huge and succulent and perfectly rare. The photo doesn’t do the bird’s side justice-that plate is 18 inches square.
