Today is Father’s Day in Italy (as well as Liechtenstein, Spain, Portugal, Bolivia, and Honduras) and since my dad is over 4,000 miles away, I chose to celebrate him the best way I know how: by going to Regoli for a bigne. These deep fried cream filled pastries go by the full name bigne di San Giuseppe and are made for Father’s Day, which aptly lands on the feast of St Joseph (JC’s adoptive father).
