Yes, Another Artichoke

I often say I am obsessed with food. To be more specific, I am obsessed with cheese, fried food, fried cheese, and artichokes. I think my fixation with the latter has become painfully obvious this month, as I have dedicated no less than five posts to the venerable thistle. I took this photo of this carciofo alla romana at Lo Scopettaro in Testaccio. I have had a lot of great artichokes recently but this one was particularly badass.
