After a full fledged meat binge in Istanbul, it was only natural that I return to Rome for…more meat. I met friends at Bisteak, a place near Piramide specializing in grilled meat. I ordered the arrosto misto (mixed grilled meats), god forbid I have a meal that doesn’t include 3 different meat proteins. It wasn’t bad, but I should have ordered the abbacchio (grilled lamb). A friend got it and it was the best I’ve ever tasted in Rome. You can really tell that Bisteak does not skimp on quality, using only the best lamb for their dishes. It begs the question, what kind of meat are they using everywhere else?
