Farmers’ Market at Rome’s Auditorium May 1

Written by Katie Parla on April 29, 2012

Tuesday May 1 is Labor Day, a national holiday in Italy. Obviously I’m working. I wish I could make it to the Mercato di Campagna Amica farmers’ market at the Auditorium Parco della Musica. The Parco Pensile at the Auditorium occasionally hosts this local, seasonal and (mostly) organic farmers’ market. The outdoor venue is a nice change of pace from the amazing yet enclosed Campagna Amica markets in Testaccio and near the Circo Massimo. So if you are in town, go check it out and grab some pecorino e fave to celebrate May Day. The next dates for the Auditorium farmers’ market are May 6, May 27, and June 3.
