Tasting Rome East Coast Book Tour

Tasting Rome

A mere two years after submitting the proposal for Tasting Rome (back in the day the working title was “Really Roman”), Kristina and I are about to release our cookbook into the wild. The official release date is Tuesday March 29, but Tasting Rome has already been spotted in a Parisian bookstore and I suspect more than a few of you who pre-ordered will be getting your books before the weekend! Our publisher Clarkson Potter is offering all sorts of exclusive gifts for those of you who pre-order and if you do so on or before March 28, you will receive a collection of photo prints! Click here for all the details and to enter and stay tuned for offers through late March and the month of April. And if you want to get in on the action, here are some links for purchasing the book online:

Starting March 30, I will be embarking on a book tour, beginning on the East Coast, then branching out across North America. In order to support local business, I am partnering with independent book shops, so if you are attending these events, your ticket likely includes a book! Visit individual events pages for details. Here’s what I’ve got cooking:

Locanda is one of my favorite restaurants in SF! Would love to join you for this dinner but being from NJ, it may be difficult. But, who knows? Looking forward to this book. All the best Katie!

haha yeah SF is a bit of a commute. can you make it to the Clydz, Drexel, 92Y, Co. or Grand Army events? they are all in/near the garden state

SF is sort of our “second home” as my husband is originally from there and we visit about twice a year. So there is a slight possibility we could be there in April, so that’s why I said “who knows.” ?
As for the tri-state area dates we are thinking about Co. Sounds like a great night! We’re in Hoboken and work in NYC so it’s convenient. Would love to meet you and talk Rome with you some day. We’ve been there 6 times in the last 10 years and love the city. All the best with the book Katie. Can’t wait to get it!

Not Charlotte? Ah, I’ll have to skip then. Just got the book, so I’ll just have to just eat well instead.
